Introduction

Our client is a leading Australian mining operator who are seeking a Process Operator to join their team based on the Pilbara.

Your role will ensure safe and efficient production and allow you to work with a values-driven organisational and collaborative high-performing team

This is your opportunity to join a team at one of the leading iron ore producers in Australia as a Process Operator.

Reporting to the Process Supervisor, this role is key to the daily running of all large-scale equipment within the Fixed Plant. Key accountabilities will include:

  • Efficient operation of the ore processing plants.
  • General maintenance of the crushing plant and associated equipment
  • Regular liaison with management for production and target reports

Essential skills and knowledge 

Skills required:

  • Over 2 years of experience operating large crushing screening processing plants, including MMD sizers, cone crushing circuits, associated conveying systems, and associated plant components.
  • Strong safety standards and adherence to Fortescue's company safety values
  • Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn new things.
  • Working at heights and forklift qualifications.
  • C Class Drivers Licence
