What are you going to do 

Brunel is proud to partner with a leading international organization in the defense and high-tech systems sector. This company is currently working on one of the most advanced naval technology programs in Europe-focused on building next-generation systems for maritime defense platforms.
As part of this long-term and large-scale project, we are looking for a Naval Gun Java Engineer to join a highly skilled, multidisciplinary development team. The role involves the development and integration of complex software solutions that support real-time decision-making capabilities aboard naval vessels. The scope spans the full software lifecycle-from concept and design to integration, validation, and deployment onboard ships.
You'll be contributing to a mission-critical system that enables fast and reliable access to operational information for defense personnel-helping ensure safety, security, and strategic effectiveness.
Your Role:You'll be part of a self-organizing Scrum team that handles the full range of software development responsibilities, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, implementation, testing, and validation. Collaboration across agile teams is key, and you'll work closely with both software and system architects to ensure security and performance are embedded into every line of code.

Holds at least a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field
Has 5+ years of professional experience in Java development
Quickly adapts to new technologies and complex domains
