Introduction

Are you an experienced commissioning engineer with a passion for power distribution systems? Do you have the drive to work on challenging projects across Europe? We are looking for an International Commissioning Engineer to join our rapidly growing "Center of Competence" for data centers in The Hague. You will be part of our small commissioning team within the "Data Center Distribution Systems" department, collaborating with 160 colleagues on multidisciplinary hyperscale data center projects.

What are you going to do 

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be the technical point of contact on-site, ensuring that our power distribution systems are tested and commissioned correctly. Your main responsibility is to ensure the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and according to our high-quality standards. You will work closely with subcontractors and colleagues from other countries to meet all safety and quality guidelines. Additionally, you will oversee the installation progress and coordinate on-site activities.

Essential skills and knowledge 

We are looking for a commissioning engineer who is a strong communicator and enjoys variety in their work. Safety is your top priority, and you have a positive attitude with a strong focus on quality.

Your profile:

  • A degree in electrical engineering (MBO or HBO level).
  • At least 4 years of experience in commissioning, preferably in the energy or utilities sector.
  • Experience with testing and commissioning of power distribution systems such as switchgear and transformers.
  • Hands-on experience with relevant testing methods and equipment, such as current injection, insulation resistance, fault finding, and functional testing.
  • Willingness to work on international projects for extended periods.
  • Fluent in English (knowledge of Dutch is a plus).
  • A valid driver’s license and an EU passport.
