Very large compression and living quarters platforms fabricated in Far East, loaded out and transported to Middle East onboard self-propelled vessel and barges, installed by various methods including heavy lifting, launching and float over at existing gas production complex.
About this role
Supervise Contractor activities related to vessels and equipment preparation, inspection, testing approval and mobilization for loadout, sea fastening, transportation, mooring and installation.
Ensure marine operations are executed safely and in compliance with contract agreement, industry standards and best practices.
Liaise with Vessel Management Team (VMT) on the status, ongoing and planned activities, highlighting issues and recommending mitigations.
Support engineering on procedure development, constructability reviews and risk assessment.

Medical fitness certificate and safety training for working offshore
Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore construction as methods and operations engineer or similar role, on installation of large, fixed platforms including wet tow, dry transportation, mooring, float over and heavy lifting (alternatively floating and semi-sub facilities i.e. FPSO, TLP, SPAR).
Marine, Naval, Mechanical or similar engineering degree
Good communication and interpersonal relationships, effective problem-solving, coordination, interfacing and influencing
