Introduction

Brunel International is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor Electrical (Underground) for a well-established gold mine project in Papua New Guinea. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a major mining operation.

About this role

The Shift Supervisor Electrical will be responsible for overseeing the electrical maintenance and repair work for all plant and equipment on site. This role will require the successful candidate to work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all work is carried out safely, efficiently and to the required standard. The Shift Supervisor Electrical will also be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies.

List of Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' experience in Underground electrical maintenance and repair work in a mining environment
Experience in managing and leading a team of maintenance professionals
Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent
Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and company policies
Strong communication and leadership skills
Willingness to work on a FIFO basis
