About this role
As an Auto Electrician with Brunel Papua New Guinea, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and components in a range of vehicles and heavy machinery. You will be working on a FIFO basis, with a roster of 22 days on, 20 days off, and that will be based in Papua New Guinea. Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Inspecting, testing and diagnosing electrical systems and components
- Repairing and replacing faulty electrical parts
- Installing, testing and repairing electronic equipment and accessories
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Is this you?
List of requirementsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Trade qualification in Auto Electrical or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Auto Electrician
- Experience working in a FIFO environment
- Knowledge of heavy machinery and mining equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in Papua New Guinea
