Introduction

Our client, a Tier 3 Brisbane based Builder, are looking to bring onboard a new Senior Project Manager to be the driving force on some of their exciting commercial construction projects in 2024.

The projects you will be working on span across a range of industries including: Social Housing, Education, Mixed-Use Commercial and Hospitality. All of their projects are within the New Build sector up to $20m.

Working as a Senior Project Manager, you will take a leading role working on several projects from concept design and development stages, right through to construction and completion alongside a strong CA and site team.

About this role

Responsibilities:

  • Planning all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Obtaining all necessary regulations and permits.
  • Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
  • Managing your Site Managers and Foreman oversees their work.
  • Communicating with clients and delivers project progress reports.
  • Continuing positive relationship with subcontractors.
  • Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
  • Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
  • HSE responsibility in partnership with HSE Advisor and Manager Uses scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management / a related degree or demonstrated background progressing from Site to PM level (Required)
  • 4 + years of Commercial Construction Project Management experience. (Required)
  • Exposure to Commercial Construction projects, ideally with a value of $10M+ (Required)
  • The ability to manage and mentor in a collaborative and supportive manner.
  • Drive to succeed and develop in a growing business.
