Introduction

On behalf of Chevron, we are looking for a Senior Completions Engineer. This role will join Chevron's Wells team to support the planning and execution of completion and well servicing operations on their Western Australian assets.

Reporting to the Engineering Team Lead and Wells Superintendent, you'll represent Chevron in office, facility, and field settings, ensuring top-tier design and execution plans.

About this role

  • Act as a Chevron representative, driving adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Design completions for Deepwater Subsea Gas Wells, spanning early-phase planning to execution.
  • Develop comprehensive design and execution plans that align with corporate and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Wells and Asset teams to ensure alignment of plans and deliverables.
  • Lead or participate in technical reviews, risk assessments, and assurance processes.
  • Interface with Business Partners, managing contracts, purchase orders, and post-job reporting.
  • Research and implement innovative technologies to enhance safety and operational performance.
  • Track and evaluate completion performance to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Supervise completion and well servicing activities at the wellsite as required.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in designing and executing active sand control completions (gravel pack) in subsea, high-rate gas wells.
  • Relevant experience in subsea well intervention and well servicing operations.
  • Proficiency in completion engineering software.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute complex completion and intervention operations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Australian Full working rights.
