Our client is a global testing, inspection and certification organisation, who are searching for a highly skilled Senior CNC Machinist to join their team in Toowoomba, QLD.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial position is preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, waste elimination, and visual communication techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • A current and appropriate Trade Certificate.
  • Relevant licenses, including forklift and large wheeled loader, are required.
  • Proficiency in operating manual and computer-controlled turning and milling equipment.
  • Understanding of different grades of steel and their machining characteristics.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Extensive experience operating and programming metal working machinery in a customer-focused environment
  • Physical fitness appropriate for the role.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be located near Toowoomba and hold full Australian working rights.
