Our client is one of the world's largest oil field services companies, it provides products and services for oil well drilling, formation evaluation, completion, production, reservoir consulting, and tubular running services.

About this role

We have a current opportunity for a Production Operator on a contract basis. The position will be based in Darwin.

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing laboratory analysis to verify material conforms to the corresponding product quality specifications and prepare CofA (Certificate of Analysis).
  • Taking product QC samples as detailed in operations procedures.
  • Unloading / loading transport carriers as per sales or purchase order status.
  • Assisting with maintaining ISO9001:2015 certification through assistance to Plant Supervisor and Plant Manager
  • Coordinating quality control on site with support and corporate functional group
  • Meeting company expectations for HSE standards and policy, this includes applying 5 fundamentals of a perfect HSE day.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED and relevant forklift experience.
  • Show good experience of working within Quality, Logistics, Warehouse, or Inventory Management environment.
  • Display the ability to identify and resolve problems and be able to implement effective improvements.
  • Show the ability to be a team player and work collaboratively.
  • Demonstrate computer skills and be familiar with MS Office
  • Have ability to work in a physical environment, often involving moving of heavy products.
