Introduction

  • Member of Business Support team, reporting to the Projects Governance Division Manager.
  • The role of the Reporting Lead is to ensure that the Projects maintains a high level of excellence in reporting at all levels and interfaces with the Projects for all aspects of reporting.
  • Develops efforts to ensure the project reporting is executed in accordance with expectations. This role will coordinate directly with the Business departments and PMTS of Projects.
  • Accurately and professionally develop and issue reports and provide ad hoc analysis reports incorporating various project directives.
  • Compiles and prepares all required data for weekly, monthly, and periodic reports.
  • Provides support to the Projects Governance Division Manager on all reporting related issues/matters.
  • Counsel and encourage team activities and requirements relating to reporting.
  • Provide advice and works effectively in a complex multinational and multi-cultural environment.
  • Develop effective working relationships with all Projects and Operating companies.

About this role

  • Recommends the development and preparation of standard reporting tools for the weekly, monthly, and periodic reporting for the overall Projects and confirms the reporting highlights with Senior Management and Shareholders.
  • Ensures the progress from the individual EPCI Contractor’s is correctly input into reporting process; provides counsel to Projects Business teams in relation to any changes or updates to reporting requirements.
  • Coordinates Projects milestone inputs to WP&B in line with corporate requirements.
  • Ensures all changes, modifications or alternative options are correctly captured in periodic reports.
  • Develops issues apparent in the reports that need highlighting to Projects Governance Division Manager and Business Support Manager.
  • Provides counsel to the Projects Governance Division Manager on reporting issues.

Requirements

  • BA or BSc, professional qualification however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 8 (8) years broad experience in all project phases i.e., engineering, procurement, and construction. Worldwide experience with IOCs, Contractors, and Vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of offshore facilities.
  • Excellent (native) written and spoken English.
  • Good supervisory skills.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong skills using MS Office.
  • Ideally strong skills in using MS Power BI and Milestones.
