Join a leading organization in the mining industry and take on the exciting role of Project Supervisor with Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (SMP) experience. This role is based on-site and offers a dynamic roster of 8:6, providing a great work-life balance while being at the forefront of project management and safety leadership.

About this role

Key Responsibilities:

General:Lead by example in demonstrating exemplary safety leadership.
Uphold a strong commitment to company core values.Effectively communicate with contractors and Perth-based stakeholders on all project-related matters.
Attend and actively participate in pre-starts and progress meetings for assigned projects.Supervise and escort vehicles within Autonomous Zones (AOZ).
Maintain and submit daily diaries for assigned projects to ensure accurate project tracking.

Safety:Engage in Critical Control Monitoring, Live Infrastructure Assessments, and team-based Risk Assessments for all ongoing projects.
Conduct field leadership duties, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.Carry out Planned Task Observations (PTOs) and Area Inspections to ensure safe work practices.
Take ownership in reporting and leading incident investigations, ensuring all safety incidents are escalated and addressed promptly.

Quality:Oversee the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) monitoring and review process to ensure all quality standards are met.
Complete Field Inspection Checklists progressively to guarantee project quality at each stage.Identify any non-conformance to project drawings or materials (NCR) and escalate issues to the Project Engineer for resolution.
Participate in the Technical Query (TQ) process, providing feedback and solutions, with responsibility for conducting reviews and sign-offs as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience in site-based supervision, particularly within Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (SMP) disciplines.

Demonstrated safety leadership and commitment to fostering a strong safety culture.Ability to work closely with stakeholders, contractors, and project teams to achieve positive project outcomes.

Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records, daily diaries, and ensure project milestones are met.
