Introduction

Our client, a Tier 3 Builder in Brisbane, are looking for a Full Time, Permanent Project Manager to join their team.

The company are an established builder who deliver complex projects across new build, fit-out, refurbishment and infrastructure within the Education, Defence, Hospitality, Retail, Commercial and Community industries.

About this role

Working alongside a fully resourced Site Team you will deliver projects from concept to completion.

Duties will include:

  • Planning all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Obtaining all necessary regulations and permits.
  • Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
  • Managing your Site Managers and Foreman oversees their work.
  • Communicating with clients and delivers project progress reports.
  • Continuing positive relationship with subcontractors.
  • Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
  • Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
  • HSE responsibility in partnership with HSE Advisor and Manager.
  • Uses scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.

Is this you?

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related degree / experience (Required).
  • Proven delivery of commercial projects working directly for a Main Contractor (Required)
  • 5+ years of Commercial Construction Experience and experience operating as a Project Manager (Required).
  • The ability to manage and mentor in a collaborative and supportive manner.
  • Excels at organisation, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting.
  • Enjoys working in a team environment but also able to work autonomously when required.
