Introduction

  • Scheduling support and preparation of various reports and presentations related to planning and scheduling.
  • The position is based in Project Offices in Ras Laffan Industrial City.
  • Build good relationships internally and with the Contractor.
  • Ability to accelerate, expedite things while being tactful.
  • Ability to adapt to time constraints and deliver reports on time.
  • Ability to explain the details of the reports.

About this role

  • Assist Head Planner in scheduling, planning and reporting exercises.
  • This includes but not limited to monthly update of Level 1 Schedule, creation and maintenance of various reports and dashboards etc.
  • Review Contractor’s Level 3 and Level 4 schedules to understand changes in activity sequence and the shifting of key milestones and critical path.
  • Update and sync Level 1 Schedule with Contractor’s Level 3 and Level 4 schedules.
  • Review and extract relevant information from Contractor’s reports, analyze Contractor’s progress on engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, update and ensure timely issuance of Construction Dashboard and all other reports produced by planning team.
  • Develop and maintain good database of progress that enables easy creation and automatic update of various progress tables and charts for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Maintain a good record of Contractor’s progress S-curves by phase, discipline and Subcontractor.
  • Track and maintain a good record of quantity evolution of construction commodities.
  • Expedite any missing information related to progress and schedule from Contractor.
  • Coordinate with other divisions of PMT to establish links between databases to share and sync progress information.
  • Coordinate with Onshore Shared Resources Business Team for preparation of various reports at Onshore level and work in synergy to avoid unnecessary duplications.
  • Organize internal schedule reviews, presentations and workshops.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the oil and gas industry preferably in LNG industry.
