Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager with a high level of experience in the mining industry to lead multiple projects within their organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a robust portfolio of successfully delivering concurrent Sustaining Capital projects.

About this role

* Lead and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to client specifications.

* Engage and manage stakeholders in a complex environment, maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction.

* Oversee budget management and change management processes to ensure project alignment with financial objectives.

* Administer commercial and contract management, including reviewing and negotiating contracts.

* Review executed contracts to verify compliance with timeframes, milestones, procedures, and budgets.

* Allocate and manage resources effectively, ensuring optimal use across different projects.

* Monitor team workload and performance, providing support and guidance as needed. Foster and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

* Monitor and address risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact on deliverables and timelines.

* Oversee multiple client projects, ensuring successful outcomes while maintaining high levels of quality and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in project management within the mining industry, preferably with a professional services organisation.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong ability to manage stakeholders and navigate complex project environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on relationship building.
  • Experience in budget management and change management processes.
  • Proficiency in commercial and contract management practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software systems
