Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Logistics Officer for a 12-month, Monday to Friday, 9-hour day role based in Perth. You will play a key role in managing procurement and logistics operations for this important project. The position has potential for extension based on performance and project needs.

About this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders timely across departments.
  • Monitor procurement effectiveness through key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Drive improvements by translating high-level objectives into actionable strategies
  • Partner with internal teams to clarify specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines
  • Develop RFQ/Tender initiatives alongside Expressions of Interest programs (EOIs)
  • Source essential goods and services to support business functions
  • Conduct market research to identify, evaluate, and engage suitable suppliers or contractors
  • Support logistics operations to ensure efficient transport and delivery to site
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and logistics functions

Is this you?

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar procurement/logistics role
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop strategic solutions
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in procurement documentation
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Minimum Full Driver's Licence
  • Commitment to promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture
  • Ability to adhere to and work within company health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Demonstrated ability to uphold integrity, teamwork, and accountability in all aspects of work
