Introduction

We are currently seeking a Mine Surveyor to join our global mining client. In this role you will be working with a tier one mining business, on a 12-month contract, working on an 8:20 roster (8 days on, 20 days off) on a FIFO basis. As a Mine Surveyor, you will be responsible for incident scene surveys and digital hazard management, pit wall and infrastructure deformation monitoring, and volumetric surveys and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Mine Surveyor, you will be responsible for a range of surveying duties, including but not limited to:- Using a suite of spatial data collectors such as GPS, laser scanners, and UAVs
- Conducting incident scene surveys and digital hazard management- Conducting pit wall and infrastructure deformation monitoring
- Setting out of known hazards and critical operational boundaries- Conducting conformance to design checks and associated reports
- Conducting volumetric surveys and reporting

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications and experience:- A Diploma of Surveying or a Bachelor's Degree in Surveying
- Full Manual C Class driving licence- Experience in using a suite of spatial data collectors such as GPS, laser scanners, and UAVs
- Experience in incident scene surveys and digital hazard management- Experience in pit wall and infrastructure deformation monitoring
- Experience in setting out known hazards and critical operational boundaries- Experience in conducting conformance to design checks and associated reports
- Experience in conducting volumetric surveys and reporting- You must have current right to work in Australia
