Brunel are proud to partner with our client who are looking to add an Intermediate Level Project Manager to their team. This role has opened due to an increase in project load in 2024 with some exciting new projects starting soon!
This client are a stable national company with works across VIC, NSW and QLD. They specialise in their industry delivering New Build, Fit Out and Refurbishment projects from Warehouses to Distribution Centres and Live Environments valued up to $75m.

Currently, they have a strong team of long-serving Senior and Junior PM's however are looking to strengthen their middle level. Due to this team structure, you will be working within fully resourced teams with a deep understanding of the established processes and procedures that have been set up for guaranteed project success.

About this role

Working as a Project Manager, you will take a leading role working on several projects from concept design and development stages, right through to construction and completion.
Duties will include:

  • Planning all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Obtaining all necessary regulations and permits.
  • Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
  • Managing your Site Managers and Foreman oversees their work.
  • Communicating with clients and delivers project progress reports.
  • Continuing positive relationship with subcontractors
  • Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
  • Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
  • HSE responsibility in partnership with HSE Advisor and Manager.
  • Uses scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related degree (Required).
  • Exposure to commercial projects with a value of $10M+ (Required).
  • 5+ years of Commercial Construction Experience and experience operating as a Project Manager (Required).
  • The ability to manage and mentor in a collaborative and supportive manner.
  • Excels at organisation, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting.
  • Enjoys working in a team environment but also able to work autonomously when required.
