Introduction

Our client, a mining industry leader based in Western Australia, is seeking university graduates with tertiary qualifications in electronics, mechatronics, or electrical engineering to join their site-based Process Control Systems team.

About this role

You will work under a flexible FIFO roster that can be tailored to suit your lifestyle.

This site-based engineering position involves working with cutting-edge automation systems and software, including Siemens and Allen Bradley, to support the future of mining operations worldwide.

  • Process Control & SCADA Optimisation.
  • Modifications to SCADA/HMI.
  • Development of procedures and work Instructions.
  • Process optimisation and troubleshooting.
  • Managing changes and conducting risk assessments.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in electronics, mechatronics, or electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Must have full working rights in Australia (Permanent Residency, Citizen, or Graduate Visa).
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Must be highly motivated and eager to learn and develop your career as a Process Control Systems Engineer.
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Whilst no experience is required for this position, a graduate Control Systems Engineer with experience in the mining industry would be highly desirable.
  • Experience with Siemens GE or Allen Bradley also highly desirable.
  • Experience using SCADA systems.
