About this role

We have an Unconventional Upstream Oil & Gas company based in Midland, TX looking for an Instrumentation, Controls, & Electrical (IC&E) Engineer to act as an owner's rep overseeing their engineering contractors.

Rate: Hourly with 1.5x OT

Main Functions

Review and evaluate discipline engineering work performed by internal teams, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with company specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Facilitate the effective execution of discipline engineering and design processes that support team goals, objectives, and procedures.
Ensure clear and timely communication of discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues between the team and other company departments.
Demonstrate strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, alongside technical expertise.

Skills and Qualifications

Allen Bradley experience
Experience working for an EPC company
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field, or equivalent professional experience.
Extensive knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and relevant safety criteria for the discipline.
Ability to handle tight deadlines, high workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Fluent in English, particularly in technical and business communications.
