Introduction

  • Leads OT Cybersecurity engineering, construction & commissioning activities for North Field Expansion Onshore Project, ensuring technical requirements fully comply with project deliverables and standardized processes and are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Steward Cybersecurity engineering activities to ensure quality and timely delivery of Cybersecurity engineering scope.
  • Drive the contractor by providing clear guidance and facilitating resolution to issues to complete Cybersecurity engineering activities.
  • This role requires strong leadership to drive the contractor to efficiently execute the Cybersecurity scope of work for ICSS and all vendor packages.
  • There are brownfield elements to this scope which will require interfacing and alignment with OPCO to tie-in into existing systems.
  • Must be a strong communicator and team player, interacts closely with other discipline engineers to complete multi-discipline engineering activities.
  • Required to contribute to other multi-disciplinary tasks whilst providing expertise in specialized area
  • Drive coordination and decision making with MICC vendor, package vendors and Contractor

About this role

  • Ensure OT CYBERSECURITY engineering, construction & commissioning activities are conducted in accordance with project specifications and approved variations if any.
  • Accountable for a quality design of CYBERSECURITY engineering deliverables, including design safety aspects and execution planning of CYBERSECURITY field activities
  • Drive work execution, ensuring technical alignment and quality with various disciplines stakeholders from both PMT and EPC Contractor.
  • Provides guidance to contractor to complete CYBERSECURITY construction/commissioning activities in a timely manner and provides clear direction when project instructions or specifications are not clear
  • Review Design and deploy security controls and technologies to safeguard OT assets, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and encryption tools for ICSS and package vendor systems
  • Collaborate with OPCO ICS teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into the design and implementation of new systems and technologies.
  • Owner of Site CYBERSECURITY management plan. Conduct regular security assessments and audits of OT systems to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up to date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in OT cybersecurity and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery efforts, as needed.
  • Ensure all CYBERSECURITY related deliverables are provided that required for handover to OPCO
  • Support multi-discipline activities providing CYBERSECURITY expertise to other disciplines as necessary, in support of completing activities within schedule and making appropriate recommendations to management on CYBERSECURITY issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Instrument Engineering or equivalent and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience working in an Oil & gas industry having broad knowledge of Cybersecurity engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, design, construction and operations.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with specific expertise in OT/ICS security, switch/Firewall configuration, domain policies etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial control systems, SCADA systems, DCS systems, IPS systems, PLC, and other OT technologies and communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as the ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and IEC/ISA 62443.
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), MCSA, CCNA, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral English skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills.
  • Strong technical, prioritization and management skills.
  • Strong communication, influencing and interface skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with several organizational levels.
