Introduction

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cost Analyst to join our team and support a tier one mining business across a portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cost assessments, carrying out valuations on larger projects, and keeping stakeholders informed of project costs.

About this role

Key Responsibilities:

As a Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the development of regular cost and change management reports, and will work closely with project managers to ensure that projects are delivered within budget. You will also be responsible for providing expert advice on cost management, and will be expected to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A degree in engineering, or quantity surveying is highly desirable
  • Experience of working in a cost role
  • Experience of working on at least one large project would be highly beneficial
  • Must have experience working within the mining sector
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must have current right to work in Australia
