About this role

Ensure compliance with Queensland TMR regulations, WHS laws, and national safety standards.
Manage and maintain safety documentation, including audits, risk assessments, and incident reports.
Oversee safety management systems (SMS), ensuring records and data are accurate and up to date.
Work closely with internal teams across mining and construction projects to uphold safety compliance.
Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices.
Utilize compliance software, reporting tools, and data analytics to monitor and enhance safety performance.
Assist in preparing for internal and external audits, ensuring full adherence to safety regulations.
Stay informed on regulatory changes and train teams on updated safety requirements.

Is this you?

Proven experience in a compliance and safety role within the construction, civil, or mining industry.
Strong knowledge of Queensland safety regulations and federal compliance standards.
Highly computer-savvy with experience using compliance software, reporting tools, and data management systems.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and risk assessment skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to train and guide teams.
Relevant WHS and compliance certifications are highly regarded.
