Job Description: Completions - Electrical Preservation Specialist

Location: Point Celeste, Louisiana

Contract Type: Long-term, multi-year contract

Our Client, a leader in the LNG industry, is seeking a seasoned **Completions - Electrical Preservation Specialist** to join their team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and successful completion of systems to achieve the facility's production and performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight for the development and execution of the systems completion program, including systemization, inspection and test plans, punch listing, status tracking, and records management.
  • Supervise contractor commissioning activities and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Lead Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR) and represent commissioning in project punch-listing efforts.
  • Verify that Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Process Licensor requirements are integrated into commissioning and completion procedures.
  • Coordinate with key interfaces, including liquefaction process licensors, contractor completions teams, construction, engineering, and operations departments.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures to protect plant personnel and ensure operational integrity.
  • Manage and enforce simultaneous operations (SIMOPs) protocols.
  • Conduct assurance and audit activities to validate compliance and performance.

Is this you?

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of plant completions experience, with substantial exposure to major EPC LNG export projects. Demonstrated expertise with structured management of change (MOC) systems. Proficiency with computerized completions management systems.
  • Experience managing simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) in major capital projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols and demonstrated awareness in operational environments.
  • Proven experience as a permit approver in a permit-to-work system, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), inhibits and overrides, hot work, and confined space entry.
  • Working knowledge of safety and integrity-critical equipment and systems, including associated functional testing.
  • Familiarity with incident investigation methodologies such as 5 Whys or Taproot.
  • Understanding of process safety fundamentals.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively across multiple levels and stakeholders.
