Introduction

We are seeking an Asset Manager - Offshore Operations to join our client's team in Darwin in a permanent capacity. The successful Asset Manager - Offshore Operations will report directly to the Head of Operations and will manage the onshore oversight of an offshore oil and gas asset's operational performance. This role offers an opportunity to play a key part in ensuring the efficiency and success of a major offshore asset.

About this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage an offshore oil and gas asset from an onshore base, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with safety standards.
  • Oversee strategies that optimize production and maintenance processes.
  • Oversee contracts and procurement processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of upstream production processes and live well management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and performance.

Is this you?

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive offshore oil and gas experience, with a preference for FPSO facilities.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing offshore oil and gas assets from an onshore position.
  • Experience working client side and contracting is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the technical, contractual, and commercial issues related to the operation of FPSOs / offshore assets.
  • Strong knowledge of upstream production processes and live well management.
  • Experience in procurement and maintenance operations.
  • Candidates must have full Australian working rights and be willing to relocate to Darwin, Australia.
