Join us as a System Architect Dynamics to lead technical specifications and system design, ensuring optimal dynamic behavior and performance in the high-tech industry.

What are you going to do 

As a System Architect Dynamics, you'll be key in crafting technical specifications to ensure a robust system design that aligns with customer performance and functional needs. You'll lead a team in optimizing dynamic behavior according to these specifications, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary colleagues through in-depth analysis and design. Your role includes hands-on support, overseeing detailed calculations, simulations, and design decisions throughout the development process.
Responsibilities Include:

  • Defining Requirements: Establish dynamic requirements for modules and systems based on performance criteria.
  • Analytical Requirements: Set requirements for analytical or experimental analyses to validate and predict dynamic performance.
  • Performing Analysis: Conduct essential calculations and tests, and interpret results to validate dynamic performance.
  • Driving Design Improvements: Communicate evidence-based results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and guide design modifications to enhance system dynamics.
  • Knowledge Development: Actively contribute to advancing the organization’s expertise in dynamic systems.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • University master’s degree with a mechanical/mechatronics background & a minimum of 3-7 years experience on vibration sensitive systems or PhD with aforementioned specialization/experience with some years of experience.
  • Ideal candidate must have good understanding of machine dynamics. Experience in topics such as dynamic substructuring, multibody dynamics, vibration isolation, passive/active damping, modal analysis & vibrometry is a plus.
  • Experience with analysis and testing to understand dynamics of vibration sensitive machines required. Aforementioned experience on high-precision machines preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of experience with FEM (ANSYS, COMSOL, Nastran, etc), CAD (NX, Solidworks, etc.) and computational (MATLAB, Python, Simulink, etc.) tools required.
  • Experience in independently managing complex analysis while working independently or in a team.
  • Ideal candidate must have demonstrated history of being a quick learner and practicing analytical, critical and practical thinking.
