Introduction

Our client is responsible for designing and producing high-tech machines and machine modules. They are also manufacturing and assembling their machines under one roof. Their high-tech production facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to produce any designed product. Their clients are international leaders within the high-tech engineering domain. They are expanding their business, therefore we are looking for experienced Mechatronic System Designers.

What are you going to do 

As a Mechatronics System Designer at our client, you will be responsible for designing systems based on customer requirements. You will contribute to design teams to ensure the functional specifications of customers are met within the overall cost and timing constraints. In close collaboration with colleagues from various disciplines, you will implement decomposed functions and modules.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining specifications, writing analysis documents, performing trade-off studies, and setting directions for realization and validation. Additionally, you will review designs, ensure system performance, and drive continuous improvements. Throughout the project, you will act as a peer and provide support to your colleagues.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Master’s degree from a Technical University.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in high-tech environments, precision machinery, contamination control, and vacuum systems.
  • Strong eagerness to define concepts, establish interfaces, and apply mechatronic design principles.
  • Accurate, flexible, analytical, pragmatic, creative, proactive, and motivated to face challenges.
  • A team player, both within the organization and in interactions with clients, consortium partners, and suppliers.
  • Skilled in building constructive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for contributing to company growth.
  • Efficient at managing time pressure, budget constraints, and setting priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English.
