Introduction

The Mechanical Engineering Roles take in charge the research and development of mechanical design, simulation and testing to contribute to the development of a hardware solution or product.

What are you going to do 

Your work will cover the full spectrum of activities, from development to product realization, aiming to achieve high system performance combined with affordable cost levels. You act in close cooperation with other disciplines (i.e., system engineers, electrical engineers, EMC engineers and production technologists), often in an international environment. Several roles can be distinguished in this process, including concept engineering, mechanical engineering or construction, or program management. You are encouraged to develop further in one of these directions, depending on personal interests.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • You have experience with CAD tools (preferable Pro-Engineer) and PDM tools (preferable Windchill/PdmLink).
  • Preferably +5 years experience with Creo (8).
  • You are open minded, creative and able to think across boundaries;
  • You are enthusiastic, persistent and flexible;
  • You have good communication skills;
  • You are fluent in English and preferably Dutch, both verbal and written;
  • You are willing to travel and also willing to work externally for limited periods.
  • You are available for a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.
  • EU-citizen only due to screening
