Introduction

The Sr. Planning Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all planning, scheduling, and cost engineering activities for projects within the Oil & Gas and/or Infrastructure related industries. This role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in project engineering and planning.

About this role

Perform comprehensive Project Planning / Integrated Plan, Scheduling, Progress monitoring / reporting, Value of Work Done (VOWD), Critical Path Analysis, Risk Analysis, Extension of Time (EOT) / Variance Analysis, Invoice Payment / Accruals / Verification, and reporting activities necessary to achieve the successful execution of the assigned Project(s) from initiation to close-out.

B. Sc. or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline. Preferably Certified PMP or equivalent certifications/memberships.
Minimum 10 years' experience in project engineering with 5 years’ experience in planning of projects in Oil & Gas and/or Infrastructure related industries.
Expert knowledge on all Planning, Scheduling and Cost Engineering activities including Schedule baseline, Work Breakdown Structure, Extension of Time (EOT) Analysis, Budget Phasing, Forecasting, Trend Analysis, Progress Monitoring / Reporting, Resource management, Risk analysis including Mitigation and Project Change Management etc.
Should be a great team player.
Should be proficient in spoken and written English.
Should possess well developed analytical skills, very good knowledge of internationally acceptable norms.
Good computer skills and proficient user of PRIMAVERA (P6) / MS PROJECT planning software, Excel, Power Point etc.
