Introduction

On behalf of our Internation Energy client, Brunel is recruiting a Rotating Equipment Engineer to act as a technical focal point for rotating equipment and auxiliaries. This is a Perth based role.

About this role

The successful Rotating Equipment Engineer will liaise with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Shutdown, Strategic Engineering, and Equipment OEM's interfaces to provide frontline rotating equipment support and guidance to the facilities.

You will also develop heath care, maintenance and inspection strategies for offshore rotating equipment (RE) systems, identify deliverables required to assure these activities.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing day-to-day and long-term Rotating Equipment discipline technical support to the facilities and obtain additional functional specialist support where required.
  • Ensure RE activity is given appropriate visibility and priority within the work management system planning cycle.
  • Support the advance planning of rotating equipment maintenance scopes to ensure safe, efficient delivery to the facilities rotating equipment.
  • Provide technical input to the shutdown and planning teams for all RE scheduled overhauls

Is this you?

  • Experience working on large rotating equipment and supporting systems including Gas Turbines - LM2500, Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Turbo Expanders, Compressor seal systems, Diesel Engines, Fire Pumps, Condition and Performing Monitoring Systems.
  • Solid understanding of reliability engineering and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of CMMS systems, surveillance of rotating equipment and integrity assurance.
  • Solid understanding of management of change processes.
