Introduction

  • Able to examine the provided Resource information that is conducted for the purpose of expressing an opinion as to whether such Resource information, in the aggregate, is reasonable and has been estimated by qualified individuals and presented in conformity with generally accepted petroleum engineering and evaluation principles and in compliance with the relevant Resource definitions.

About this role

  • Have used the software in hydrocarbon resource studies, audits and evaluations.
  • Either have obtained, from a college or university of recognized stature, a bachelor’s or advanced degree in petroleum engineering, geology, or other discipline of engineering or physical science or has received, and is maintaining in good standing, a registered or certified professional engineer’s license or a registered or certified professional geologist’s license, or the equivalent thereof, from an appropriate governmental authority or professional organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in petroleum or reservoir engineering or petroleum production geology, with at least 5 years of such experience being in responsible charge of the estimation and evaluation of Reserves Information.
  • Be proficient and able to use the following engineering and geological software:
  • OFM
  • Intersect, Eclipse 100 & 300 (SLB)
  • Petrel (SLB) @Risk
