Introduction

Join a leading mining operation as a Reliability Engineer, where you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and continuous improvement of the Ore Processing Facility (OPF). This role focuses on reliability engineering techniques, data analysis, defect elimination, and driving improvement projects to maximize operational efficiency and performance.

About this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with relevant departments to provide technical solutions that enhance reliability and performance.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety standards and regulations throughout the facility.
  • Monitor and ensure quality assurance of critical operational processes within the OPF.
  • Work within defined sections of the area budget, ensuring targets are met and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Identify, propose, and implement improvement projects aimed at defect elimination and increased operational efficiency.
  • Apply advanced reliability engineering techniques and methodologies to solve complex operational challenges.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Reliability Engineering.
  • Certification in Condition Monitoring.
  • Experience in the mining industry, particularly in hard rock applications.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and a high degree of analytical focus, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continual improvement.
  • In-depth knowledge of mining legislation and regulations relevant to the operation of Ore Processing Facilities.
