Introduction

Brunel are currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join a global leader in design, engineering, and project management, known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability they operate across the globe on some of the largest projects in mining & Infrastructure.

We are seeking someone who is eager to join a dynamic project team and contribute to an exciting mining operation internationally while being based here in Brisbane.

About this role

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in scheduling equipment contract packages and executing the procurement plan.
Participate in preparing detailed estimates and control budgets.
Prepare commercial terms and conditions for contracts and purchase orders.
Conduct surveys for local and international material/equipment availability.
Ensure compliance with client procurement policies and legal obligations.
Establish Quality Assurance methods and procedures.
Coordinate with other disciplines and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

Is this you?

More about you:

A minimum of 5 years' procurement experience with significant experience in mining projects
High-level negotiating skills and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels both within and outside the organisation.
Experience working with Engineering, Construction, Project Management and other services.

Note: You must have full and unrestricted Australian Working Rights to be elligible for this position.
