Introduction

We are looking for a process engineer in a niche market. You will work at a world leading technology in a fast growing company.

About this role

You will contribute to the realization of coating equipment by specification of process requirements, optimization of the coatings and doing the commissioning and acceptance of systems at customer locations. You will develop and produce coating solutions for potential customers, transfer these into working production systems at the customers and be involved in development of new technologies and processes. This is executed in an environment with a variety of customers and projects, where own initiative, equipment knowhow, interaction and team work are vital for success. You will be part of the Process Engineering department, a team of 16 colleagues in Venlo and several colleagues in Asia.

Requirements

  • At minimum a Master degree (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Physics or similar and 3-5 years of industrial experience in a similar role.
  • Thorough knowhow on plasma physics and plasma diagnostic.
  • Relevant experience in one of the following fields: Sputtering (HIPIMS, DMS) and/or Arc technology, PVD coatings for tools, PACVD / DLC coatings for tribological applications.
  • You speak English fluently and preferably Dutch, German or Chinese as well
  • Willingness to travel worldwide on a regular base (30%).
