Introduction

We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our client, a tier one mining business with operations across the WA Pilbara region. As the Energy Operations Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for managing and scheduling weekly/minor shutdown maintenance for our client's minesite based power station, which has a total output of circa 300 MW.

About this role

As the Energy Operations Maintenance Planner, you will report directly to the Planning Supervisor and work closely with the site-based maintenance teams. You will be responsible for the effective development, management, and scheduling of weekly/minor shutdown maintenance.

You will manage multiple generation and transmission assets across the WA Pilbara operations.

This is an 8:6 roster position, with a 6 month contract.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling
  • Experience in power station maintenance or a similar industry
  • Knowledge of maintenance management systems such as SAP
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to work in a remote location on an 8:6 roster
  • You must be located in Australia and have current right to work to be considered for this role
