About this role

  • Controls the Contractor’s work to ensure that project technical requirements are satisfied.
  • Coordinates engineering reviews of design and engineering documents.
  • Coordinates the asset operator’s input to the design and engineering.
  • Responsible to ensure that operations and maintenance requirements are satisfied.
  • Controls the contractors work to ensure that the project specification requirements are satisfied.
  • Coordinates Company responses to engineering queries.
  • Evaluates technical basis for contractor change requests.
  • Responsible to monitor and assess contractors engineering progress against the schedule.
  • Confirm third party design interfaces accounted for in engineering design.
  • Assists with verification of contractors claimed engineering progress.
  • Coordinates the interface between the contractor and third-party verification bodies.
  • Participates in testing of critical instrument and control systems.
  • Confirm applicability, suitability, and function of all equipment.
  • Experience working in Ras Laffan Industrial City.

Is this you?

  • Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Instrument & Control Engineer, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Instrument & Control Engineer, with prior experience in petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial projects. Experience in ethylene storage or similar projects is preferred.
