Introduction

  • Responsible for the timely assessment and execution of required activities in North Field South Project to enable North Field West Project.
  • These activities are related to management and Governance of changes, alignment on project engineering requirements, objectives, and timing.
  • Scope of work is a world class, large, complex, fast-track, multi-cultural and multi-location Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning Contract executed by an contractor Joint Venture.
  • Key challenges include (1) ensuring effective governance in a high pace and dynamic project environment and (2) project execution within the commercial framework of the Joint Facility Agreements, achieving and maintaining alignment with key Stakeholders.

About this role

  • Responsible for compliance of internal Governance Processes required to effectively manage changes in Onshore Project to enable NFW Project.
  • Responsible for regular reporting and analysis.
  • Facilitation and support to the management of change process, including Decision Records and approvals.
  • Responsible for compliance with Project Management System.
  • Supporting the change assessment and approval process by preparing information packages and slide packs as required.
  • Supporting the cost recovery process by providing input and reporting.
  • Facilitation of change coordination meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience with at least five years demonstrated project engineering experience in major capital projects.
  • Experience with contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.
  • Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience with Management of Change
  • Ability to manage conflicts and bring people together in one team.
  • A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
  • Resilience to work with variable and high demanding workload.
