Introduction
Brunel International is seeking an experienced Fitter - Dewatering Pump Stations to work on a FIFO basis in a well-established Papua New Guinea Gold Mine. The successful candidate will join our team of professionals and contribute to the efficient and safe operation of the mine.
About this role
As a Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of mechanical equipment, mainly working on the dewatering pumps, at the mine's pump stations underground. You will work in a team of skilled professionals to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the equipment and systems that support the mine's production goals.

List of Requirements
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Machining) or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the mining industry
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of dewatering pumps and associated equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Willingness to work on a FIFO basis in PNG Gold Mine's Dewatering Pump Stations
