Introduction

Brunel Energy is seeking a Hydrogeologist to join our client's site-based team. Ideal candidates have experience in contaminated land, environmental assessments, or a geology background. Field experience is preferred, but on-the-job training and support will be provided. This role will be a 3-6-month contract with a possible extension.

  • Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off (FIFO from Perth)
  • Hours: 12-hour shifts

About this role

  • Assist with Hydro-drilling supervision including well design, drill logging, and pump
  • testing
  • Perform Field geochemical measurements
  • Assist with Safety inspections and daily reporting
  • Assist with Water balance computation and aquifer conceptualization
  • Get involved with Pit dewatering planning and numerical modeling
  • Field hydrogeology investigation - measurements and sampling
  • Provide Data collation and QA analysis of early interpretations (test data)
  • Work closely with the Drilling

Requirements

  • A strong commitment to safety on-site
  • Experience with Logging Hydro Samples (or RC Chips)
  • A Qualification in Geology or Hydrogeology
  • Strong Communication skills and ability to get on well with others
  • Experience in a FIFO role will be highly regarded
  • Previous experience working in a rural environment will be highly regarde
