About this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead your team to effectively execute the daily schedule and engage in field leadership activities.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely, ensuring that weekly plans are followed and daily activities do not disrupt power supply to the Transmission Network.
  • Record all field leadership activities and identified hazards into the business management system, providing feedback to the team on a daily basis.
  • Oversee onsite contractors and ensure compliance with client and industry standards.
  • Ensure role descriptions are current and set clear expectations and performance standards for team members.
  • Maintain KPIs and ensure compliance with SAP maintenance strategies, avoiding reactive maintenance.
  • Ensure employees conduct themselves in accordance with the organisation's Code of Conduct and Values.
  • Support personal and professional development of team members through structured development plans, ongoing coaching, and mentoring.
  • Foster an empowered and collaborative workgroup, encouraging diverse ideas and teamwork to exceed business objectives.
  • Lead by example with integrity, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and compliantly, holding team members accountable.
  • Manage workplace incidents in a timely manner, adhering to the company's incident escalation process.
  • Review and sign off Electrical Installations completed by the team as part of the Nominee responsibility process.

Is this you?

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a safe working culture.
  • Experience and confidence in delivering electrical trade responsibilities.
  • Electrical trade qualification.
  • Cert IV in Instrumentation, with relevant experience.
  • Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas training with hands-on experience.
  • High Voltage Switching Certificate with experience.
  • A current "C Class" WA Manual Driver's License.
  • Experience in power generation industries.
  • Understanding of Work Management Processes & Practices.
  • Previosu experience in an Electrical Supervisor role.
  • Knowledge of supervisor legislative responsibilities and Electrical Statutory requirements.
