Introduction

We're seeking a Contracts Analyst to work with a major LNG company on a 6-month contract basis with the possibility of extension.

About this role

  • Responsible for maintaining contract processes and procedures in addition to preparing analysis and reporting materials. The role will have contract administration responsibility for all contracts utilized for Engineering & Construction (E&C) activities.
  • Familiarity with all contract phases, language, contract templates, contract processes, contract procedure, GEP contract drafting, repository and reporting functionality and all required supplier forms and insurance provisions is needed. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with Oracle, SharePoint, Documentum, and in-depth hands-on knowledge of Smart GEP CLM contracts and reporting module is preferred.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to all contract phases to including Pre-award, Award, Post-Award and Closeout.
  • Ensures audit-ready posture including self-audit and coordination of external audits when required.
  • Communicates effectively and with integrity across E&C and Business stakeholders to align direction and understanding of contracting processes.
  • Maintains accurate contract documentation and data requirements for E&C.
  • Develops analysis and reports required to manage contract expirations, updates, risk reviews, ownership, or other reportable requirements.
  • Administers and manages the Contract Repository to include updates, user access, user ownership assignment changes and interfaces, etc.
  • Is responsible for the accuracy of the invoice and requisite analysis relating to assigned contracts.
  • Participate in the Change Management process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Law, or similar discipline. Relevant professional certification in Supply Chain Management, Contracts, Procurement and/or Project Management is a definite plus.
  • 3+ years' relevant experience in Contract Management. Experience as a Category Analyst, Contract Analyst or Contract Administrator is preferred. Experience in the LNG industry is a definite plus.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple activities and programs timely and with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Exceptional problem solving, planning and analytical skills.
